THE RACE
THE EVENT AREA IS RESERVED FOR RUNNERS UNTIL 11:30 AM
Before the race, the event area in Musikhusparken and Rådhusparken is reserved exclusively for participants and can only be accessed by showing a race number. From 11:30 AM, Musikhusparken and Musikhuset will open to spectators and supporters. Rådhusparken will remain closed and accessible to participants only.
But why is that?
The event area is closed to spectators to give the runners the best possible experience and peace of mind before the race.
As an alternative, we are once again creating a cozy atmosphere in Mølleparken this year, where you can meet up with your family and friends once you have crossed the finish line.
MØLLEPARKEN AS A MEETING POINT
Mølleparken was a great success in 2025, and in 2026 we will once again create a cozy lounge atmosphere. Here, family and friends can cheer as you pass by, and the area also serves as a natural meeting point after the race. The route passes Mølleparken twice, making it the perfect spot for extra cheering and support.
If you pick up your race number on Sunday, this can also be done here. There will also be a big screen in Mølleparken, allowing your supporters to follow the race.

RACE NUMBER PICKUP
When the doors open for this year’s race number pickup in the Large Hall at Musikhuset, you can collect your race number and get ready for race day. Aarhus Motion will be there to help, ensuring you quickly and easily receive all the necessary equipment.
After picking up your race number, you can stop by the Løbeshop.dk EXPO in the foyer, where exhibitors from the running industry present exciting products and great offers.
At the race number pickup, you will receive your race number, water bottle, a specially developed gel from PurePower, a wardrobe bag, and a T-shirt. If you register for (or receive a transferred ticket to) the BESTSELLER Aarhus City Half after May 25 at 8:00 AM, your race number will not be printed with your name. However, you will have the option to purchase a label that you can attach to the race number yourself.
WARDROBE / BAG DROP
At the BESTSELLER Aarhus City Half, free storage of bags and valuables is available. For this purpose, you must use the wardrobe bag provided together with your race number. When you hand in the bag at the wardrobe area, you will receive a sticker with a number that is attached to your race number. Each participant may only check in one bag.
We recommend that you drop off your bag well in advance, so you have enough time to reach your start group without stress. Bag storage is at your own risk.
There are three wardrobe areas at the venue: City Hall, Musikhuset, and the Radisson parking area (in trucks). You must use the wardrobe area assigned to your start group – this is clearly indicated on your race number.
